On October 11th, Berklee College of Music released

a performance video of "Lift Every Voice and Sing",  featuring big band adaptation by Misha Danilov.

The song is considered the Black National Anthem. This version is based on Lawrence "Larry" Watson's arrangement that was first featured for Nelson Mandela in 1990 during his historic visit to Boston after he was released from prison.

 

In September 2016, the big band arrangement of this song was performed at S.O.A.R 2016 event for 10.000 people.
